Signing or approving a document you were sent
The email from Refrendo has a link that is yours alone. Open it on any phone or computer.
- If the sender asked for an access code, enter the code they gave you. It comes from the sender by phone or in person, never in the email.
- Read the short disclosure from the organisation that sent it, and tick the box to agree to use electronic records and signatures. If you would rather not, say so there and the sender is told.
- Read the document. The fields waiting for you are highlighted, and the button at the bottom takes you to each one.
- To sign, type your name, draw your signature or upload an image of it. Initials are asked for separately, in the same three ways.
- To approve, select Approve. You can also reject or ask for changes, with a comment the sender will see.
- If you were asked to review the document, select I’ve reviewed this.
When everyone has finished, each person is emailed a link to download the final PDF and, unless the sender turned it off, the completion certificate. The link works for seven days.
If something is wrong
You can decline to sign, or pass your turn to someone else if the request allows it. If the link says it has expired or been withdrawn, ask the sender to send it again.
Still stuck?
Email support@refrendo.com.au and a person will reply.
