Refrendo was built for the common case: someone in your organisation needs a document approved by the right people and then signed by a colleague, a supplier or a customer, with evidence that will stand up later. The pages below each look at that from a different starting point.
Leaving DocuSign
- The DocuSign alternative: Approvals and signatures in one workflow, priced on senders.
- A cheaper DocuSign alternative: Work out what your workload would cost on Refrendo.
- DocuSign alternative for Australia: AUD pricing, Australian e-signature law, local focus.
- A free DocuSign alternative: What the free plan includes, and its limits.
- For small businesses: Contracts, quotes and sign-offs without the enterprise price.
Leaving Adobe Acrobat Sign
- The Adobe Sign alternative: Signing and approvals without an Acrobat licence each.
- Sign a PDF without Acrobat: Get a PDF signed by anyone, in their browser.
Comparing your options
- DocuSign vs Adobe Sign: How the two big names differ, and when neither fits.
- Document approval workflows: Route a document through the right people before it’s signed.
What we won’t claim
Refrendo does not have DocuSign’s integration catalogue, certificate-based (PKI) digital signatures, or SAML. It offers electronic signatures, which Australian law recognises for most business documents, a REST API with webhooks, and single sign-on over OpenID Connect. If you need the others, it is better to know now.
Details about other products are from their public websites as of September 2026 and may have changed. DocuSign and Adobe Acrobat Sign are trademarks of their owners; Refrendo is not affiliated with them.
